Rag Quilts

Rag Quilting

I have to say that making my first rag quilt was one of the funnest projects I have made to date.  It should be completed within a few days, if I am lucky enough to find the time to do so.  The materials used in this rag quilt are an assortment of pink, white, and grey flannels.  In between the 2 sandwiched pieces of flannel is a piece of soft and warm batting.  This quilt will be given to a friend at her baby shower at the end of the month.  I am sure I am going to find it hard to part with , as it is the very first one that I have made.  I hope she and the baby enjoys it, as much as I have enjoyed making it.  If you would like instructions on how to complete one of your own please just comment.  I will be happy to help. Or come following me at the link below where I post a lot of the things I create and provide links to where I purchase materials, designs, patterns, and more

Let's talk Crabcakes

Living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland we know our crab cakes.  Maryland has been voted as the best State in the Country for crab cakes.  If you following this recipe you will see why. There is an error in the recipe~~~ it should read 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
